Mischa?

Look at this review of the movie of LEAF that someone just sent me "Carr appears to have talent and he appears to have charisma but after seeing him up close at the screening, we couldn’t decide if he was a nice guy or if he’s the type of spoiled twenty something actor who would make the tabloid magazines. He could be something to watch for in the future. Or he could be someone I’d see on the front page at a club misbehaving next to Mischa Barton."

Eight Days a Week.

Well it’s here. It’s "Opening Day" for baseball, and for fans and non fans, it’s always a sure sign, the nice warm weather is coming. No more of this gray miserable east coast winter. It’s sort of the turnaround, the chance to change directions in case the year hasn’t been going your way. It’s almost like the "warm version" of New Years a brand new warm start....so to get things going in the right direction...this is how I’m going to try and get started on Spring....please feel free to use this template to get your new fresh spring starts.... Monday...

NYC. CAN I KICK IT? YES YOU CAN.

Good Friday. And a long Friday. The good folks at New Jersey Transit whipped us to NYC, where we hit Greenwich Village, and we had a little bit of time....so where do we go? We hit the classic pizza joint "Pizzanini" where you could help yourself to their "Baked Ziti Pizza" which I did. I ate so much of that I was ready for a nap afterward. But it wasn’t nap time, it was showtime....

Mean Streets and Bruschetta.

March Madness is upon us. Funny enough, I got asked to join about 4 "NCAA Basketball Brackets". I had to say no. I’m the worst of all time when trying to pick a winner. I’m more "gut feeling" than "logic" so as a result, if i have to pick a winner, I lose all the time, so I don’t even bother. I’ll just root for any of Philadelphia’s teams, "The City 6", looks like 3 of the City 6 are in the mix, St Joes, Villanova and Temple. I’ve hung out at all these places and don’t necessarily have a favorite...so this year I’m rooting big for Saint-Temp-Anova. Go big, fellas. My brother Bryan, has been talking at great length for a good solid 6 months about this band called "Dragon Force"...

"The words I thought I brought, I left behind, so, nevermind"

Rolling in to NYC on Friday....and I’m pumped for a lot of different reasons. The NYC crowd has been overwhelmingly terrific and supportive since we announced the show, and also a side note, before the screenings? I’ve been hand picking some theatrical trailers by some top notch filmmakers, and giving their outstanding work the chance to be seen by a gigantic audience. For Philly, it was Vince Corkadel’s "Dust and Death" (though we screened it under the title of DARK DELICACIES, I’m keeping this trailer, with it’s alternate title, that’s going to be a collectors item) and Jack Knapp’s "Down With the Boogey". These trailers played VERY well in Philly...and I can’t wait to see the Big Apple’s reaction. However like my good friend Yoda once said "there is another"....
